Help for the most common issues.
If the TrackMan software can’t find or won’t connect to the TrackMan you should be able to fix by rebooting the TrackMan. Here are the instructions. You can also watch the video instructions.

Step 1 -
Exit the TrackMan software, open the TrackMan folder on the desktop and double click the TrackMan Admin file this should open a web browser window on the computer.

Step 2 -
Click Login

Then click on the Administration button on the left and select Reboot

Click Reboot and Confirm.

Step 5 -
Once you see a confirmation that it is rebooting close the browser window
Step 6 -
Relaunch the TrackMan Software
Step 7 -
To ensure the TrackMan connects click the TrackMan logo at the bottom middle of the screen. You should get the calibration screen.
Step 8 -
Click the AutoTarget button and you should be good to go
A More Nuclear Option - Hard Resart the TrackMan
If this doesn’t work you can try to hard restart TrackMan. Here are the instructions.
1. Gently pick up the TrackMan unit - note it is connected to wires DO NOT pull it out to far or disconnect any of the cables.
2. On the back of the unit is a triangular leg
3. Push the triangular leg down gently until you hear a click then fold the leg up.
4. The small legs on the front will retract and the TrackMan will shut down. When the green light turns off the unit has turned off
5. Restart the unit by extending the rear triangular leg down gently until you hear it click
6. Place the unit back in its place.
7. When the green light stops blinking and is solid the unit has been successfully restarted

If the main screen in on the wall TV, the screen seems to be frozen, or golf course is showing on the wall monitor instead of the projector you need to make a settings adjustment in the TrackMan software. It is NOT a Windows issue - PLEASE DO NOT CHANGE THE WINDOWS DISPLAY SETTINGS. Here is how to fix it. You can also watch this video:

Step 1 -
You will need to exit the Virtual Golf round by mousing over to the wall screen you can also press the Windows button on the keyboard and close the Virtual Golf windows. If none of that works you can always restart the computer.
Step 2 -
Once you are back to home screen click on the name on the bottom right and select Advanced Settings - you may need to do this on the wall screen. :)

On the Settings Screen select Extended Displays in the Upper Right Corner

You should see Screen 1 and Screen 2. Make sure the small Projector and TPS squares are selected under Screen 1 and NOT screen 2.

Save the settings. They system should now display the course and main screen on the the extended data on the wall screens
If the Private Fairway Members Tournament doesn't show up under the Tournaments option you have come to the right place. Here are two things to check.
Make sure you are logged into windows with the !PFTour user.
1. Log into the computer using the !PFTour windows user not your user? ie (firstinitial)(last name). TrackMan's new requirements need to use a specific login so we have created the !PFTour user on each computer.
2. Scan the QR code with the TrackMan Golf app to link your account. You can also click sign in on the bottom left and sign in with your email and password.
3. The tournament should now be available.
Make sure you are registered for and have accepted the invitation to the tournament.
1. Check your TrackMan Golf App under Tournaments and My Tournaments. If the tournament shows then you are registered and have accepted the invite.
2. If it doesn't show check the invite tab to make sure you have accepted the invite.
3. If it isn't in the invites or live tabs then we need to add your TrackMan account to the tournament. Visit this site to register. https://www.privatefairway.com/pftour (https://www.privatefairway.com/pftour)
If you find the TrackMan Unit is consistently missing about half of the data points it may need to be restarted. Here are the instructions to reboot the TrackMan unit.
1. Exit the TrackMan software, open the TrackMan Settings folder on the desktop and double click the TrackMan Admin file this should open a web browser window on the computer.
2. Click Login
3. Then click on the Administration button on the left and select Reboot
4. Click Reboot and Confirm.
5. Once you see a confirmation that it is rebooting close the browser window
6. Relaunch the TrackMan Software
7. To ensure the TrackMan connects click the TrackMan logo at the bottom middle of the screen. You should get the calibration screen.
8. Click the AutoTarget button to calibrate
9. Launch Shot Analysis and hit a few shots to make sure it is now reading all of the data.
TrackMan virtual golf requires a handicap for each player. If you or one of your guests have just created a TrackMan profile you may see that the instead of a number for handicap there will be a line. Before you can launch the game you need to make sure each player has a handicap assigned. Here are the instructions.

Click to Edit the Player

Select Handicap and Assign a Handicap

Repeat for any players without a handicap number
Step 5 -
Start Game should now be available
NOTE -
If you log in with your TrackMan account by scanning the QR code the TrackMan system will remember and manage your TrackMan handicap.
If the courses all showing as locked or unavailable and/or there is an error showing a subscription error you should be able to fix this by making sure the software is connected to the TrackMan unit. Here are the instructions:
Step 1 -
Click the TrackMan logo at the bottom of the Home Screen

This should launch a window that will search for and connect to the TrackMan - if the search fails or times out please see TrackMan won’t connect
Step 2 -
Once the TrackMan connects it should open the calibration screen
Step 3 -
Click Auto Target to calibrate the TrackMan.

You will get the grid screen on the projector

The lock icons and subscription error should now be gone
If the cameras won’t activate or come online the best remedy is to simply reboot the computer. You a restart the computer in the following two ways.
Restart Option 1
1. Click the Windows icon and you will see the power icon
2. Click one the power icon and select restart
3. The computer should restart
4. Once it restarts login to your user and the cameras should now be activated
Restart Option 2
1. Locate the CPU inside the cabinet
2. Locate the power button. It is on the top of the CPU
3. Hold down the power button and the computer should turn off
4. Press the power button again to restart the computer
5. The cameras should now come online
If the computer is on and the screen on the counter is on but isn't a picture on the big screen the most likely issue is that the video projector has been turned off or has timed out and you just need to turn on the projector.
Step - 1
Locate the remote. There should be a large white Panasonic remote the counter.
Step 2 -
Point the remote at the screen and press the red button

The projector should come on in a few seconds. If the projector doesn't come on their might be bigger issue. Please contact us.
