Overview
Practicing at Private Fairway with our TrackMan technology and practice features will help you play the best golf of your life. The focus is on how these tools can help players improve their game, specifically by dropping 6–10 strokes through data-driven practice.
Key Points
TrackMan Technology Upgrade
Private Fairway now offers the latest TrackMan software, providing advanced feedback similar to what professionals use.
New features include club distance tracking, AI-driven swing analysis, and purposeful practice modes.
Three Main Ways to Improve Your Game
1. Map My Bag Feature
Allows golfers to hit shots with each club and receive average carry and total distances.
Helps players understand true average distances (not just best shots), leading to better club selection and fewer missed greens.
Identifies gaps and overlaps in club distances, aiding in potential club adjustments.
2. AI Motion Analysis
Uses AI to analyze video of your swing, tracing clubhead path, shaft, hip and shoulder turn, and lead arm movement.
Provides detailed feedback on swing mechanics to identify areas for improvement.
3. Purposeful Practice in Performance Center
Performance Center enables customized practice sessions, simulating real course conditions (e.g., altitude, random distances, different greens).
Scores each shot relative to your handicap, offering immediate feedback and targeted improvement.
Prevents repetitive, unproductive practice by varying shots and conditions.
Membership and Trial Offers
Flexible summer memberships and usage options—no need for year-long commitments.
Free trial sessions available; golfers are invited to bring their clubs and friends to experience the technology.

Transcription of the video:
Hey there, this is Craig at Private Fairway. It's beginning to be golf season so we're out on the golf course, playing golf, having a good time, but we're probably finding our golf game is not as great as we would like it to be.
And I'm going to show you right now how you can get better drop six to ten strokes just by practicing with the feedback the pros get here at Private Fairway. So TrackMan just introduced some new software.
We have the latest TrackMan technology here and there's some really great things you can do that are focused on improving your game.
Things like understanding the distances of each of your clubs, looking at the motion analysis of your swing using AI, understanding smash factor and spin a little bit better, and then also practicing in a way that really puts some purpose into your golf game.
So sometimes we think about golf simulator is just coming in and playing virtual golf, but in this little video I'm going to show you three quick things you can do here at Private Fairway that are going to help you play better golf. Okay, the first thing I'm going to show you is this feature called Map My Bag.
It's the latest in the TrackMan software. It's a little game where you just hit some shots with each of your clubs and then it gives you an average distance, carry distance, and total distance for each of the clubs in your bag.
This way you could be confident knowing you can carry that lake or carry that carry that bunker. You know the Arcos data, the little sensors on the clubs that people are using, after billions and billions of shots they're finding the average amateur golfer is short more than half the time on their approach shots.
And when we're short, we're like 60 feet from the pin. So understanding your carry distance, not your best carry distance, which is what we kind of remember, but your average carry distance can really help you play better golf and drop some strokes. So let me show you this little quick feature here in this video.
Okay, so what you can see here is I've hit all those clubs, and you can see you get kind of like a little map, right? And you know what I might look at is that there's a little bit of overlap.
You know, I don't have as clean, you know, given my handicap it's probably about normal, but I don't have as clean of dispersions as I would like. And then you can look at like the gapping, right? So we have 80, 90, almost 100, 120, 130, now 150, 160, 170. This 5-iron may not be, may not be one I need in my bag.
And then I have 184, 186, 204, 227 with the drivers. Okay, the second thing that's going to help you play better golf this year is TrackMan's AI motion analysis for your golf swing.
So what's happening is it's taking the video, it's using AI to trace different points of your golf swing and help you understand what's going on. So for example, here's one that I did, just a simple 8-iron swing, and you can see it's traced on here some different elements.
So it's traced on the clubhead path, and then it's also tracing my club shaft. And you can actually see, so the red is taking me to the top of my swing, and then as I start coming down, just a slight little over the top move, and then, and then pull through. So there's different points you can do.
You can look at hip, shoulder turn, lead arm, all of those different things. So AI motion analysis is going to help you understand what's going on with your golf swing, make improvements, and play better golf.
Okay, the third thing that's going to help you play better golf is to practice with some really good feedback and some purpose. And that's going to happen in TrackMan's Performance Center that we have here at Private Fairway.
So this is the latest practice technology where you can build your own shots, and you can then get a score for each shot so you can understand how you're doing. So let's just jump into it, and I'll show it to you real quick. What we're going to do is we're just going to click log in.
We're going to click our game settings. We're going to set our altitude here where I play. It's 4,700 feet, so I get a little unfair advantage of some of you. So we'll click it to 4,700 feet.
We're going to click save settings. We're going to click start practice.
It's going to give us the option to warm up, but we're not going to warm up. We're just going to load it up. And then what's going to happen is we can set up the shot the way we want. So we can set up a random shot between different distances.
So maybe we want to put it in, say, our troubles are 100 to maybe 130, we'll say. I can set it up so it'll randomize it. I can set it'll randomize the green for me if I want. So I have to, like, make different decisions. I can set the handicap. So I can set it to my handicap.
Now I get an idea of how it works against other people in my same group. And then I click continue. And so now what it does is it's giving me this shot. And what I have here is I have this highlighted area, this white area, is kind of the target zone for 12 handicaps.
Iif I'm inside that area, life is good and I'm doing pretty well. If I'm out, I'm going to lose strokes. I'm just going to turn these markers on because I like them on. All right, now, so I have 132 yards. And what I want to do is hit some shots and see how I do at 132 yards.
And how this is really helpful is, unlike the driving range where you just hit the same club over and over and over, you're going to come in and you're going to, it's going to give you different distances.
So you're going to, you're not going to get in just a routine where eventually you're just really grooving that nine iron. All right, so it's barely, barely on the green. So against 12 handicaps, I gained a quarter of a stroke. Now my next one here is 107 yards, which is actually a bit of a tricky distance for me.
And so now you'll see it's giving me a different green, different yardage. So I have to choose a different club. Hopefully it's enough. Oh, not bad. A little short still. But I gained a tenth of a stroke. Now my next one is 122. So it's just going to go on and on like that. That's my practice.
I can pick any distance I want. I can do the same if I want. Like if I wanted to edit the distance, I could just say I just want it to be, I don't want it to be an interval. I just want it to be 100 yards. And I could have it give me different greens or I could pick the green if I want.
So I could say I want it to be that green and I want it to be that middle pin position.
Practice with Performance Center here at Private Fairway is going to help you play better golf because you're going to practice the shots that are going to help you out on the course rather than just pound balls at the driving range.
